Great British Bake Off for Comic Relief – Anyone who reads my blog regularly will know that I’m a big fan of The Great British Bake Off and next week the baking show returns to BBC Two for a celebrity special in aid of Comic Relief.

Master bakers, Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, will be putting celebrities including comedian Jo Brand, Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, TV presenters Julia Bradbury and Claudia Winklelman and gold Olympic medallist Helen Glover through their paces.
The Comic Relief mini-series airs on Monday 21st January at 8pm BBC Two and will continue with an episode each night of next week. Along with the celebs creating signature bakes, TV cook Lorraine Pascale is also said to appear on the show with reports from Ghana regarding how money raised by Comic Relief can help people there.
Met Office - We woke up this morning to a scattering of snow and its set to continue throughout the day and into the weekend. The majority of regions have been issued with weather warnings, however, some areas including Wales and the western side of the British Isles have been told to be prepared for particularly sever conditions.

It’s incredibly important to take care and take note of these official Met Office warnings particularly if you’re in an at risk area. Vulnerable members of society- elderly people, disabled people and young children- should be extra vigilant.
Late last year I wrote a Top Tips for winter article which is worth reading but I’d strongly recommend keeping a close eye on the Met Office website. Type in your postcode for a more exact forecast and be particularly cautious of changing conditions which are on the way over the weekend.
Bath-Knight’s Facebook Page- My final recommendation for this week is Bath-Knight’s Facebook Page. We’ve been on Facebook for over a year now posting links to the blog and snippets of information about Bath-Knight.

However this year we aim to build the Facebook page even more and make it into a diverse area for our customers to enjoy online. I’d love to know if there is anything that you would like to see featured on the Bath-Knight Facebook page so please leave a comment below and the team and I will work on putting these ideas into place.
